Granton gas holder screen print

This impressive structure was erected from 1898 to 1903 to supply much needed extra gas to the City of Edinburgh. The gas holder, part of the extensive Granton Gas Works is now all that remains as the related industrial buildings on the site have been demolished and the land redeveloped. Now a B listed structure plans are underway to create a multi-functional public park around its frame.
This print has been screen printed by hand using 3 different layers of opaque ink and is signed and numbered.
